Ros joined CAMRA in order to further the cause of real cider. Ros says, "Most people recognise the struggle that real ale has had for survival, especially during the 70's and 80's but it has, to a large extent, recovered. Real cider and perry is still going through that struggle. There are very, very few places that sell real cider and perry."
